My journey began back in January 2013
What's your typical day like?*
A typical day is fun, varied, and unpredictable, but I love it!
You're the Business Development Manager, why is it so important to Homecare Scotland?
I have the honour of setting up care packages for people living with serious injuries and disability. It is amazing to see how well clients get on living at home with fabulous teams of caregivers. People who have been in hospital for long periods of time get to live independently, go on holiday and live great lives.
What’s the best part of your day?
The best part is speaking with clients, carers, and managers.
What’s the worst?
The worst part is speaking to clients, carers and managers who are not happy
What makes you proud to work at H1/Homecare Scotland?
What makes me proud is being able to help so many clients and their families and given freedom by senior managers to get on with the day-to-day management of the team. I am very proud that we offer a great rate of pay, and support payment of PVG /SSSC, and now offer caregivers SVQ training.
If you had to summarise H1/Homecare Scotland in 3 words what would they be?
